DURING THE YEAR CONDUCTED ACTIVITIES ARE AS FOLLOWS
“PAKHI SAMAJIK SEWA SANSTHA” believes in education for all.
The community people who belongs to weaker section and unable to provide even basic education to their children . Our sanstha runs awareness programs at regular interval to educate these children and parents of different states of India.
During month of January and March, 2014, one such orientation done at Jhajjar Kalan Beri, Distt.- Bhadur Garh, of Haryana.
The organization has undertaken environment awareness camp at various places of Delhi in which the organization has organized awareness camps for the environment pollution in the urban areas of Delhi in January and February, 2014. The people were introduced about the chronic effect of the pollution upon the health.
To remind the days of pre-independence and to arouse the feelings of patriotism. The Society organized various programs on the occasions of Independence Day and Republic day. The program was a major success. On this occasion National Anthem was sung and the National Flag was hosted with the full honor. At the end of the program the prizes distributed.
We run a program in M.P. in September, 2013 on environment orientation enrichment projects. It also includes making environmental education an integral part of curriculum in school education, emphasis on development of local-specific teaching learning materials (brochures, posters, maps, charts, art and artifacts, models, audio and video materials as well as CDs).
Further we organize exhibitions, literacy gathering, dramas, debates and discussions, dances, film shows, street plays, melas and other such activities including those which the Panchayats may suggest on this topic.
We had given training in the tailoring & cutting to the women below the poverty line. This camp was arranged in Sohanpur Village, Barelly, UP in May, 2013. Now those trained women earning their livelihood without difficulties.
These programs were arranged under our Employment Generation campaign for the poor women.
We are conducting 3 health camps in the rural areas of Delhi in May 2013. In this camp we provide free diagnosis and treatment for the patients of different elements, in these camps we also provided free medicines. Local poor peoples are benefited from this camp.
Generally our target sample is of at least 100 patients for each camp.
At first camp we enrolled record 176 people who has examined and benefited from concealing and free medicines. Our core team looks after storage of donated medicines too.
We had successfully organized free Pulse Polio Camp with the help of Angan Bari Kendra. Approx. three such camps were organized in local village of Loni, Ghaziabad UP in October, 2013.
